The grave of rock ‘n’ roll legend Kiyoshiro Imawano is located at the Takao Reien cemetery in Hachioji, Tokyo, a few kilometers from JR Takao Station. The grave is frequented by many cyclists because Imawano is also known for his enthusiasm for road bikes.

In 2005, Imawano was inducted into the Bicycle Hall of Fame by the nonprofit organization Bicycle Usage Promotion Study Group for his contribution to promoting the use of bicycles. His songs include “Cycling Blues” and “Jitensha Shoka” (Bicycle Show Song), a parody of the 1964 Akira Kobayashi hit “Jidosha Shoka” (Motor Show Song).
