[Movie] Kyoto’s spine-chilling haunted train

The Yomiuri ShimbunKeifuku Electric Railroad Co. limited service (usually through Aug. 15) of a “Ghost Train” that runs between Shijo-Omiya and Arashiyama stations in Kyoto has been an annual event since 2007. Passengers dressed as various monsters and ghosts from Japanese folklore get on the train and the lights dim while eerie music starts. Tickets for the haunted train cost ¥210 for adults and ¥110 for children, but only ¥10 for passengers who dress up in ghoulish costumes. [Released on July 29, 2016]
