Jiji Press PARIS (Jiji Press) — Some French media organizations on Thursday reported that the Chilean man wanted for the alleged murder of missing Japanese student Narumi Kurosaki has been identified as Nicolas Zepeda Contreras.

Chilean media reports said the man, a former boyfriend of Kurosaki, is 26 years old.

Kurosaki, 21, a University of Tsukuba student who was studying French at a university in Besancon, eastern France, disappeared on Dec. 4 last year.

The suspect is believed to have returned to Chile after leaving France around Dec. 7. Le Parisien, a French newspaper, said he may have left for his hometown, Temuco.

On Dec. 4, Kurosaki and the suspect are believed to have dined at a restaurant near Besancon and gone to Kurosaki’s dormitory room together.

According to the French paper, the suspect seems to have arrived at an airport in Geneva and rented a vehicle before her disappearance came to light.

Police probes found that Kurosaki’s suitcase and personal computer had been taken away, the paper also said.Speech
