[Movie] Solar panels spread as far as you can see in Soma

Solar panels are seen spread across the coastal area of Matsukawaura lagoon in Soma, Fukushima Prefecture. The mega solar power plant, scheduled to begin operating in June, was built on farmlands of the Isobe district, which suffered salt damage after the tsunami swept the area. About 200,000 panels were installed on a lot 700,000 square meters in area to generate 60 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, which can provide for 16,660 households.
