China ships sail near Senkakus

Jiji Press NAHA (Jiji Press) — Four Chinese coast guard ships entered Japanese territorial waters around the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture on Friday.

This was the first such intrusion by Chinese government ships since Monday and the 10th this year.

According to the Japan Coast Guard’s 11th regional headquarters in Naha, the Haijing 2101, the Haijing 2305, the Haijing 2306 and the Haijing 31240 crossed into the Japanese waters at a point north-northwest of Uotsurijima island, the largest of the islands, around between 10:15 a.m. and 10:35 a.m.Speech
