Man sent to prosecutors over death of Vietnamese girl

Jiji Press ABIKO, Chiba (Jiji Press) — Police sent the head of a parents’ group to public prosecutors on Saturday, the day after the man was arrested for allegedly abandoning the body of a 9-year-old Vietnamese girl who was found dead in Chiba Prefecture, last month.

The Chiba prefectural police the same day searched the condominium of the man, Yasumasa Shibuya, 46, in the city of Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture, to look for evidence backing the allegations against him.

His home is about 300 meters from the house in Matsudo of the girl, Le Thi Nhat Linh, who was an elementary school third-grader.Speech
