Suga: Japan watching Jerusalem situation closely

Jiji PressTOKYO (Jiji Press) — Japan is closely watching the United States’ moves on Jerusalem, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said Wednesday.

Suga said Japan supports a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

He reiterated the government’s position that the conflict, including over the fate of Jerusalem, should be resolved through negotiations between the parties involved.Speech
