Dai Nippon Printing names new president

Jiji Press TOKYO (Jiji Press) — Dai Nippon Printing Co. will promote Executive Vice President Yoshinari Kitajima to the post of president on June 28, the Japanese company has said.

Kitajima, 53, will succeed his father, Yoshitoshi, 84, who will step aside to the post of chairman while retaining the right to represent the company.

The move, the first reshuffle of the company’s top management in about 39 years, is intended to help speed up the process of diversifying its operations.
