Abe, Trump coordinate stance

The Yomiuri ShimbunPrime Minister Shinzo Abe had telephone talks with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday, the day before the latter meets with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Abe and Trump “made meticulous coordination regarding the stance for the U.S.-North Korea summit meeting tomorrow,” the prime minister told reporters at the Prime Minister’s Office following the telephone talks. “Japan and the United States — and Japan, the United States and South Korea — are in complete agreement over the basic stance for the meeting.” Speech
