The Yomiuri Shimbun Yokozuna Hakuho defeated No. 1 maegashira Asanoyama, the reigning summer tournament champion, in the final bout of day 2 of the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament on Monday.

Ozeki Tochinoshin, who regained his rank after the May tournament, suffered his second defeat after falling to No. 3 maegashira Shodai.
